BLACKSBURG, Virginia, July 10 -- Virginia Tech issued the following news:
Ernest "Ernie" Hamilton, housekeeping worker in the Division of Facilities, passed away on July 7.
Hamilton was a beloved member of the Custodial Services team. Most recently, he served the Grounds Building on Sterrett Drive. During his time there, the team of grounds employees had become particularly close with Hamilton, and even looked after him throughout his illness.
