WASHINGTON, July 10 -- Rep. Morgan Griffith, R-Virginia, issued the following news release:
The Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) has awarded The Nature Conservancy a $400,000 grant for outdoor recreation infrastructure upgrades. The funds, made available by ARC's ARISE initiative, apply to the Cumberland-Pine Mountain Outdoor Recreation and Conservation Corridor project. The overall Cumberland Forest project covers 253,000 acres in Kentucky, Tennessee and Virginia. U.S. Congres . . .
