MIAMI, Florida, July 4 -- The Miami-Dade County government issued the following news release:

County Commissioners unanimously approved legislation (https://www.miamidade.gov/govaction/matter.asp?matter=241049&file=true&fileAnalysis=false&yearFolder=Y2024) filed by Commissioner Kevin Marino Cabrera, creating the "Golden Paws Program," which aims to connect seniors with pets needing forever homes.
