SYRACUSE, New York, July 4 (TNSres) -- The State University of New York Upstate Medical University campus issued the following news:
Two Upstate PhD candidates have been awarded the Ruth L. Kirschstein Predoctoral Individual National Research Service Award from the National Institute of Health (NIH), also known as F31 funding.
These awards are given to "promising predoctoral students with potential to develop into productive, independent research scientists." . . .
