WASHINGTON, July 3 -- Rep. Bennie G. Thompson, D-Mississippi, issued the following news release:
Congressman Bennie Thompson is pleased to announce that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is investing $5.2 million in 17 new grants supporting urban agriculture and innovative production.
Among the recipients, the only project selected from Mississippi was the Mississippi Community House Development Organization in Vicksburg, MS.
