OAK RIDGE, Tennessee, July 1 -- The U.S. Department of Energy's Oak Ridge National Laboratory issued the following news release:
Nuclear materials can produce vast amounts of energy. This unique attribute can be harnessed through reactors to provide a reliable, low-carbon electricity source.
