PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island, July 2 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Rhode Island issued the following news release:
A Rhode Island woman who is alleged to have created and executed direct-mail sweepstakes schemes that defrauded seniors and other vulnerable individuals in Rhode Island and in dozens of states across the country out of an estimated $10 million dollars, has been indicted by a federal grand jury and arraigned on conspiracy and fraud charges, announced . . .
