RALEIGH, North Carolina, July 2 -- The North Carolina Republican Party issued the following news release:
The North Carolina Republican Party (NCGOP) commends the General Assembly for placing a Citizen-Only Voting Constitutional Amendment clarifying that only U.S. Citizens may vote in North Carolina elections.
The NCGOP was actively engaged in this important issue and commends both the N.C. House of Representatives and N.C. Senate for their support and votes.
