TRENTON, New Jersey, July 2 -- New Jersey Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin issued the following news release on July 1, 2024:
The Attorney General's Office today identified the decedent and officers from a fatal officer-involved shooting on May 27, 2024, in Keansburg, New Jersey. The civilian who died from injuries sustained during the encounter has been identified as Willem Roman, 46, of Keansburg, in Monmouth County.
