HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania, June 29 -- The Pennsylvania House Republicans issued the following news on June 28, 2024:

Rep. K.C. Tomlinson (R-Bucks) today announced that her legislation to increase penalties for individuals convicted of street racing passed the House by a 177-25 vote.

House Bill 2266 would increase the current fine for street racing from $250 up to $2,000 per violation. On a second violation, the driver's vehicle would be taken away to stop them from . . .
