SPRINGFIELD, Illinois, June 29 (TNSres) -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service - Illinois Field Office issued the following news release:
Corn: Planted area, at 10.9 million acres, is down 3 percent from 2023. Harvested area for grain, at 10.75 million acres, is down 3 percent from last year.
Soybeans: Planted area, at 10.7 million acres, is up 3 percent from 2023. Harvested area, forecast at 10.65 million acres, is up 3 percent . . .
