WASHINGTON, June 28 -- The American Humanist Association issued the following agency statement on June 27, 2024:

Today the Supreme Court ruled 6-3 to dismiss Moyle v. US, lifting a stay it had previously placed on a federal district court order in Idaho to limit emergency abortions there. With the court's decision today, emergency abortions can resume in Idaho to protect the health and safety of pregnant patients.
