KANSAS CITY, Missouri, June 27 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Missouri issued the following news release on June 26, 2024:

The co-founder of a so-called Christian health care sharing ministry in St. Joseph, Mo., was sentenced in federal court today for his role in an $8 million wire fraud conspiracy that cheated hundreds of members, and to making false statements on a personal tax return.
