LAKEWOOD, Colorado, June 22 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service - Colorado Field Office issued the following news release:

The number of cattle and calves on feed for the slaughter market in Colorado feedlots with a capacity of 1,000 head or larger was estimated at 960,000 head as of June 1, 2024.
