NEW YORK, June 21 (TNSres) -- Access Now, an organization that says it defends and extends the rights of people and communities at risk, issued the following news release:
By almost all standards, 2023 was the worst in terms of recorded internet blackouts. Authorities in 39 countries deliberately disrupted access to the network at least 283 times, concealing, facilitating and exacerbating violence, war crimes, attacks on democracy and other atrocities, thus crushing the human rights . . .
