DENVER, Colorado, June 21 -- Gov. Jared Polis, D-Colorado, issued the following news release on June 20, 2024:

Today, the State of Colorado announced plans on behalf of the Boulder Convention and Visitors Bureau (Visit Boulder) and a regional coalition of partners, including the City of Boulder, the Boulder Chamber, the University of Colorado Boulder and the Stanley Film Center, to submit a proposal today to host the Sundance Film Festival in Boulder, Colorado starting in 2027.
