CHARLESTON, South Carolina, June 20 -- The Citadel issued the following news release:
After conducting a nationwide search throughout the offseason, The Citadel announced Russell Triplett as the Bulldogs' new baseball head coach Wednesday afternoon. A former standout at Clemson University, Triplett has served as the head coach at Newberry College for the last 14 seasons, amassing an overall record of 418-278-1.
