JACKSON, Mississippi, June 20 -- The Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce issued the following news release on June 18, 2024:

Today, Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce Andy Gipson announced the 165th Mississippi State Fair will be held Thursday, October 3, through Sunday, October 13, at the Mississippi State Fairgrounds in Jackson. For the first time ever, fairgoers can purchase their tickets online ahead of the 2024 State Fair.
