BOSTON, Massachusetts, June 19 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Massachusetts issued the following news release on June 18, 2024:

A Boston man pleaded guilty today to fraud and false statements charges in connection with a scheme to fraudulently obtain pandemic-related relief funds from the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) made available under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act.
