RICHMOND, Virginia, June 18 -- Virginia Attorney General Jason S. Miyares issued the following news release on June 17, 2024:

Attorney General Jason Miyares today announced the creation of the Elder Abuse Investigation Center for Central Virginia to address and combat the growing issue of elder abuse and neglect.
