Tomorrow marks the twelfth anniversary of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. This transformative policy, enacted in 2012 by President Barack Obama and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), provides young immigrants eligibility for work permits and renewable two-year deportation deferrals.
