WASHINGTON, June 13 -- Sen. Thom Tillis, R-North Carolina, issued the following news release:
Today, Senator Thom Tillis announced a $3.5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation to go towards constructions of a new airport traffic control tower at Asheville Regional Airport. All funding comes directly from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), which Senator Tillis helped negotiate, write, and pass into law.
