Yesterday, U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) competed in the annual Congressional Baseball Game. The GOP team defended their champion title for the fourth year in a row and routed Democrats 31-11 at Nationals Park in D.C.
Ernst was one of six women on the field and one of two senators on the Republican team. She served as a pinch hitter for Team GOP and scored a run after Democrats walked . . .
