WASHINGTON, June 13 -- Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Florida, issued the following news release:
On June 12, 2016, 49 innocent lives were lost in a terror attack at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida.
U.S. Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Rick Scott (R-FL) led a resolution to recognize the anniversary of the terrorist attack and honor the lives lost and injured in that senseless tragedy. The resolution passed the Senate unanimously.
