WASHINGTON, June 13 -- The National Republican Congressional Committee issued the following news on June 12, 2024:
The City of Denver today announced that fentanyl overdoses are on the rise in Denver.
Rising fentanyl overdoses can be traced directly back to a law introduced by Yadira Caraveo in 2019 that lowered the penalty for fentanyl possession in Colorado.
In the two years following the passage of Caraveo's law, fentanyl overdose deaths in Colora . . .
