WASHINGTON, June 13 -- Rep. Jared Moskowitz, D-Florida, issued the following news release on June 12, 2024:
Yesterday, Congressman Jared Moskowitz (D-Florida) introduced the Disaster Relief Fund Replenishment Act of 2024, legislation that would ensure FEMA's Disaster Relief Fund (DRF) does not run out of funding. The fund, issued to respond to major disasters around the country, is set to run out of money in August, the middle of the Atlantic hurricane season.
