SAN FRANCISCO, California, June 12 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's National Park Service issued the following news release on June 11, 2024:

The National Park Service (NPS) has selected Ray McPadden to serve as the superintendent of Mojave National Preserve in Kelso, Calif., starting July 28, 2024.

McPadden most recently served as the superintendent of Kobuk Valley National Park, Noatak National Preserve, and Cape Krusenstern National Monument, which span 9 mil . . .
