MACON, Georgia, June 11 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Georgia issued the following news release on June 10, 2024:
The leader of a violent drug trafficking organization (DTO) who directed approximately 2,000 kilograms of cocaine from Mexico into the U.S.--much of which was distributed into the Middle District of Georgia--was sentenced to two life sentences in prison for his crimes today.
