WASHINGTON, June 6 -- The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued the following recall alert:

Name of Product: Wild Country Ropeman 1 ascenders

Hazard: The teeth of the recalled ascenders can fail to engage, making it difficult or impossible for the user to ascend.

Remedy: Replace

Recall Date: June 06, 2024

Units: About 7,700 (In addition, about 297 were sold in Canada)
