Senators Todd Young (R-Ind.), Ron Wyden (D-Ore.), Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), and Ben Cardin (D-Md.), all members of the Senate Finance Committee, called on the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to take additional measures to prevent abuse of pancreata procurement by organ procurement organizations (OPOs) after rates of pancreata recovery have dramatically increased in recent years.
