CHARLESTON, West Virginia, June 8 -- The West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission issued the following news release on June 7, 2024:
The West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission today voted to strengthen the state's needs-based Higher Education Grant Program (HEGP), allowing the maximum award amount to double - from $3,400 to $6,800 - for the 2024-25 academic year for eligible students.
