SHAW AFB, South Carolina, June 8 -- Shaw Air Force Base issued the following news:

U.S. Air Force Col. Kevin Hicok assumed command of the 20th Fighter Wing at Shaw Air Force Base on June 7.
Hicok, who previously served as the 20th FW deputy commander, took command from Col. Kristoffer Smith, who will move on to his next assignment as the deputy director of plans, programs and requirements for Air C . . .
