LOS ANGELES, California, June 8 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for Central District of California issued the following news release on June 7, 2024:
A member of a group law enforcement officials dubbed the "Chesapeake Bandits" was sentenced today to 166 months in federal prison for acting as a lookout in an armed robbery of an armored truck that netted the group more than $160,000 in cash and during which a handgun was fired.
