Bridgette Crowell, a former public official who managed government contracts at the District of Columbia's Office of Contracting and Procurement (OCP) and, before that, the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), pleaded guilty today for participating in a scheme in which she reaped benefits from steering lucrative government contracts to her co-consp . . .
