WASHINGTON, June 6 -- Sen. Joe Manchin, D-West Virginia, issued the following news release:
Today, U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (I-WV) joined his bipartisan colleagues in introducing a resolution to designate Thursday, June 6, 2024 as National Naloxone Awareness Day. The resolution promotes awareness of naloxone, a life-saving medication that rapidly reverses the effects of an opioid overdose.
