HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania, June 5 -- Gov. Josh Shapiro, D-Pennsylvania, issued the following news release:
Today, Governor Josh Shapiro signed Senate Bill 37 (https://www.legis.state.pa.us/cfdocs/billinfo/billinfo.cfm?syear=2023&sind=0&body=S&type=B&bn=37) - known as Paul Miller's Law - into law, prohibiting the use of hand-held devices while driving. This bipartisan legislation makes Pennsylvania the 29th state in the nation to ban distracted driving.
