STURGEON BAY, Wisconsin, June 5 -- The Wisconsin Historical Society issued the following news release:
The Wisconsin Historical Society announces the listing of the Pride shipwreck in the State Register of Historic Places on May 24, 2024. The remains of the schooner Pride rest 250 feet north of the intersection of West Juniper Street and North Lansing Avenue in Sturgeon Bay. State Historic Preservation Officer Daina Penkiunas presented a certificate to Bob Jaeck.
