ST. PAUL, Minnesota, June 4 -- Gov. Tim Walz, D-Minnesota, issued the following proclamation:
WHEREAS: In 2024, we commemorate the 55th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, when lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people took a stand against police harassment and violence towards LGBTQIA2S+ people; and
WHEREAS: Since then, this movement has expanded to include the rights of queer, intersex, Two-Spirit, and other communities that are non-heterosexual, non-heteroromant . . .
