DES MOINES, Iowa, June 3 -- Gov. Kim Reynolds, R-Iowa, issued the following news release on June 2, 2024:
Today, Gov. Kim Reynolds authorized a disaster proclamation for Cherokee County, Iowa effective immediately through July 2, 2024. The USDA has confirmed a positive case of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) in a commercial turkey flock.
