TALLAHASSEE, Florida, June 1 -- The Florida Democratic Party issued the following news:

Rick Scott is once again putting himself before the Floridians he was elected to serve with his vow to block all legislation and nominations in the Senate.

With critical legislation, including disaster relief, the Farm Bill, and government funding on the Senate's summer agenda, Scott is focused on partisan games and his bid for Republican leader at the expense of Floridians.
