WASHINGTON, May 30 -- Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tennessee, issued the following news release:
MEMPHIS - Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9), a senior member of the Judiciary Committee, expressed his opinion after former President Donald Trump was convicted on felony counts in New York this afternoon and made the following statement:
"The rule of law, which the United States is founded upon, shone bright today. In America, no one is above the law."
