WASHINGTON, May 31 -- The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee issued the following news release on May 30, 2024:

Today, New Jersey Republican Tom Kean Jr. inevitably endorsed Donald Trump, the Republican Party's presumptive nominee, for president in 2024 after dodging the question for months.

The endorsement and the fact that Kean Jr. is once again "officially in Trump's corner" comes as no surprise, given that he has "supported some restrictions . . .
