MONTGOMERY, Alabama, May 24 -- Gov. Kay Ivey, R-Alabama, issued the following news release on May 23, 2024:
Governor Kay Ivey today announced that Coca-Cola Bottling Company United Inc. (UNITED) plans to invest an estimated $330 million to construct a new Birmingham Coca-Cola facility in the city's Kingston community that is expected to create up to 50 new jobs and retain over 750 positions in the Magic City.
