WASHINGTON, May 23 -- Sen. Jacky Rosen, D-Nevada, issued the following news release:
Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) announced she has joined bipartisan legislation to reduce government waste by eliminating duplicative programs. The Identifying and Eliminating Wasteful Programs Act would require federal agencies to compile a list of unnecessary and duplicative programs, and submit the list to Congress with recommendations for statutory changes to reduce government waste.
