HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania, May 23 -- The Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education issued the following news release on May 22, 2024:

The Board of Governors of Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education today unanimously selected Dr. Jon Anderson to be the next president of Pennsylvania Western University (PennWest) following a nationwide search. The appointment takes effect July 1, 2024.
