BOSTON, Massachusetts, May 22 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Massachusetts issued the following news release:
Two men have been charged with allegedly conspiring to murder a witness in a federal trial as well as rivals. One defendant also allegedly discussed the murder of federal prosecutors.
Elijah Melton, 26, of Middleborough, and Kareem Pires, 25, of Wareham, have been charged with one count each of conspiring to commit murder for hire. Pires . . .
