DALLAS, Texas, May 18 -- Southwest Airlines issued the following news release on May 17, 2024:
On May 1, Southwest Airlines and AULANI, A Disney Resort and Spa located on Oahu, teamed up to host a Lei Day celebration for Customers onboard a Los Angeles-Honolulu flight. Lei Day is a Hawaiian tradition to honor the symbol of aloha--the lei. The aircraft for this flight was Imua One, the Southwest plane dedicated to the people and communities in Hawaii.
