DENVER, Colorado, May 17 -- Gov. Jared Polis, D-Colorado, issued the following news release on May 16, 2024:
Today, Governor Jared Polis appointed James M. Houston as Clear Creek County's District II Commissioner, effective immediately.
The vacancy was created by the death of Commissioner Sean Wood on May 6, 2024. Mr. Houston will serve through January 14, 2025, when the next regularly elected commissioner takes office.
