WASHINGTON, May 16 -- Sen. Richard J. Durbin, D-Illinois, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-IL), Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and U.S Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, introduced a resolution designating the week of May 12 through 18, 2024 as National Police Week. The resolution was cosponsored by 74 of their colleagues.
