ST. PAUL, Minnesota, May 15 -- Gov. Tim Walz, D-Minnesota, issued the following proclamation:
WHEREAS: From 1961 to 1975, southeast Asians, Americans, and their allies served, suffered, and sacrificed in the Secret War in Laos during the Vietnam War in support of the armed forces of the United States; and
WHEREAS: May 14, 1975, was the last day that the American-trained Hmong command structure over the Special Guerrilla Units in Laos was operational; and
